We are currently looking for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join our team on an upcoming project in Sheffield. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and professional individual with good attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Preparing surfaces prior to painting and decorating
- Painting walls, ceilings, doors, frames and other surfaces
- Applying emulsion, gloss and other finishes
- Filling, sanding and carrying out preparation work
- Wallpapering and general decorating duties where required
- Ensuring a high-quality finish is achieved
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe
- Working safely and following site procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Painter & Decorator
- Good knowledge of preparation and painting techniques
- High standard of workmanship
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of site health & safety
- Relevant qualifications/tickets are advantageous but not essential
