TSR Ipswich Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift Driver to join a highly established and reputable client based in the Felixstowe area. This is an ongoing role with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Day shifts: 06:00 start
- Night shifts: 16:00 start
- 10-hour shifts
- Occasional Saturday overtime (approx. 5 hours)
Role Overview
This position offers a varied workload beyond standard forklift duties. You will be involved in both warehouse operations and yard responsibilities.
Key Duties
- Pick packing orders accurately
- Loading and unloading containers
- Handling curtain-sided vehicles
- General warehouse duties
- Moving vehicles within the yard (no HGV licence required)
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
- Previous forklift and warehouse experience
- Experience with container and vehicle loading/unloading
- Full UK driving licence
- Flexibility to work both day and night shifts
Desirable:
- Combi lift experience (training can be provided for the right candidate)
