Responsibilities
- Managing end-to-end procurement activity across hardware, software, licensing and services, working closely with suppliers, distributors and vendor partners to ensure products are sourced, ordered and delivered effectively.
- Managing supplier relationships, monitoring stock availability and lead times, placing purchase orders, tracking fulfillment activity and resolving supplier-side issues where required.
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate procurement records are maintained while helping improve procurement processes, governance and reporting.
- Supporting commercial decision-making, managing supplier escalations, resolving fulfillment issues and contributing to ongoing improvements in supplier performance, cost control and operational efficiency.
Experience
- 5+ years' experience in procurement, purchasing, supplier management or a similar commercial role.
- Experience working within an MSP, IT reseller, technology distributor or similar environment.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, purchase orders and order fulfillment.
- Proven experience managing supplier, distributor or vendor relationships.
- Strong commercial awareness and decision-making ability.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail when handling pricing, specifications and supplier information.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with procurement, ERP, PSA or business management systems.
- A proactive approach to problem solving, ownership and continuous improvement.
