ROLE – Account Director (account management role, not new business)
COMPANY – 400 strong Cloud Services Provider
LOCATION – South of England
SALARY – circa £65-75,000 basic plus uncapped commission and benefits (immediate commission paid from month one on all existing rolling contracts in your account base)
The opportunity is to join one of the UK’s leading IT Cloud Service Providers – 400 people strong and growing, with 4 offices. The business has gone on a transition journey from MSP to CSP and now holds the highest possible accreditation around all 6 of Microsoft’s designations.
The role is Account Director – to manage and grow a set of 20-30 existing customers in the 150-300 user range (mainly in finance, legal and manufacturing). The role is a mix of contract renewals around support and managed services as well as proactively selling the Microsoft stack around:
- Infrastructure
- Data and AI
- Digital and App Innovation
- Modern Work
- Business Applications
- Security
The role would ideally suit someone from an IT MSP background who understands how to lead consultative, business conversations, around how technology can be implemented to help service clients' customers, streamline processes, solve pain-points and help with growth.
The client base is around London and the South of England. The role is largely out seeing clients and remote, but there is expectation to visit their Reading offices once a week on average.
The basic salary is circa £65-75,000 plus uncapped commission. You also earn 5% on all existing rolling support contracts from month 1 (circa £1.5-2.5k commission per month) plus a generous commission rate on all new solutions and services sold to your clients. It is expected you would earn somewhere between £150-200k in total from your customer base.
