COMPANY – IT MSP; device management and security as a service

ROLE – Sales Director (mix of business development and selling into existing clients - not a managerial role)

LOCATION – Fully remote, but visiting clients when required (mainly in London)

SALARY – circa £60,000 basic plus uncapped commission and potential future equity

The opportunity is to join an IT MSP that has been established for 30 years. They provide device management and security as a service for their clients, primarily in the creative sectors – graphic designers, creative agencies, photographers, videographers, design teams, etc.

The role is to join as Sales Director, alongside the MD and Technical Director to help manage the existing client base as well as develop new business. They don’t have a sales team (although are open to building one out) so this person will get full autonomy to make suggestions around sales strategy, pricing, messaging, product offering, sales tools, and ideas around lead generation, etc.

They have a Sales Director in place who is leaving in July after a number of years to pursue a different avenue away from IT, so it is a replacement position. The role is home based (although you will need to be able to get into the City of London to visit clients when needed). The basic salary is circa £60,000 plus commission with a double, uncapped OTE. A discussion around share options is also there for the right candidate.

The people are really nice and it is not an aggressive sales environment. Expectations are realistic. A great opportunity for someone to work fully remotely, supported by lovely people, and to build something on top of what is already a successful, profitable business.
