2nd Line Engineer

To assist the Technology team in helping to grow the firm they are currently seeking a 2nd Line Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Support the Technology team to grow the firm by providing 2nd line engineering support.
• Work with Windows desktop and server management and common business applications.
• Manage Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Work with Microsoft Stack technologies including Azure, Intune, Exchange, O365, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Develop and use PowerShell scripts for automation and task completion.
• Software deployment and maintenance.
• Understand network concepts and protocols and support related infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Virtual Desktop environments is beneficial.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Knowledge or experience in Windows desktop and server management and common business applications.
• Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Stack technologies: Azure, Intune, Exchange, O365, SharePoint, Teams.
• Proficient in PowerShell.
• Experience with software deployment, networking concepts, and protocols.
• Beneficial: knowledge of Virtual Desktop environments.

• Compensation package includes salary up to £40,000 plus bonus and private medical insurance.
