Groundworks Supervisor – Northallerton Location: Northallerton Start Date: End of October Rate: £25.00–£26.00 per hour Hours: Approx. 45 hours per week Duration: Long-term, with potential for permanent employment We are currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworks Supervisor to join a new-build care home project in Northallerton, starting at the end of October. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all groundworks operations on site, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Duties & Responsibilities: Supervising and coordinating all groundworks activities on site Managing groundworkers and subcontractors Ensuring works are completed to programme and required standards Monitoring health & safety and ensuring site procedures are followed Liaising with site management, subcontractors and other trades Carrying out quality checks and ensuring specifications are met Monitoring progress and reporting any issues to the Site Manager/Project Manager Ensuring the site is kept safe, organised and productive Requirements: Relevant groundworks supervisory experience SMSTS – essential CSCS – essential First Aid – desirable Strong knowledge of groundworks and construction site procedures Good communication and leadership skills Ability to manage a team and work to deadlines Must have experience working in a supervisory role on relevant construction projects There is also the opportunity for a permanent position for the right candidate.
