TSR Recruitment is actively working with a Fire Protection contractor based in the Leicestershire area who are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join the team.
Benefits- Basic salary circa £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
- Car allowance circa £4k
- 20 days annual leave plus Christmas shutdown and bank holidays (31 in total)
- 8.30 am to 5 pm working hours (30min break)
- Discretionary bonus up to 10% after 12 months employment
- 3% employee pension contributions
A hybrid role covering both Estimating and Quantity Surveying.
Estimating duties will cover:- Additional works on existing projects and new schemes
- Offer value engineering
- Costing off a schedule of rates
- Submit documentation / tenders to win work
- Commercial managing live schemes
- Work closely with the Contracts Managers to ensure projects are completed within budget
- Carry out monthly cost value reports
- Attend site meetings
- Complete final accounts
- Manage the contractual QS side identifying and resolving issues
Established business with 20 years trading history, circa £20 million annual turnover, excellent client base including tier 1, tier 2 and SMEs. Projects range from small schemes at £1k to £2 million.
Knowledge/Experience- A proven history working as a Quantity Surveyor
- Open to sector experience either main contractor or specialist subcontractor
- Preferably degree educated
- Good IT and numerical skills
- Full UK driving license
