Job Title: Contracts Manager – Decarbonisation Projects\\n\\nLocation: Oxford\\n\\nSalary: £50,000 + Car Allowance, Fuel Card, and Standard Staff Benefits\\n\\nAbout the Role\\n\\nWe are looking for an experienced and proactive Contracts Manager to lead the delivery of decarbonisation and retrofit projects in the Oxford area. This is a key role within our sustainability and energy efficiency division, overseeing the end-to-end management of retrofit programmes including insulation, low-carbon heating, ventilation, and energy-saving measures.\\n\\nYou will play a central role in ensuring that all projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with funding and regulatory standards such as PAS2030/2035 and ECO requirements.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\nProject & Operational Management\\n\\nLead retrofit and decarbonisation contracts from inception through to completion, ensuring delivery to time, quality, and budget.\\n\\nPrepare programmes of work and manage the operational delivery of energy-saving installations including:\\nExternal and internal insulation\\n\\nLow/zero carbon heating systems\\n\\nWindow and door replacements\\n\\nDraughtproofing and ventilation upgrades\\n\\nOversee contractor and engineer performance on site, ensuring productivity, safety, and quality standards are met.\\n\\nConduct regular site inspections, monitor compliance, and produce progress reports.\\n\\nClient & Stakeholder Engagement\\n\\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, residents, local authorities, and internal teams.\\n\\nAct as a key point of contact for client enquiries, ensuring prompt resolution of issues.\\n\\nEnsure delivery of projects in line with client commitments and funder requirements.\\n\\nCompliance & Quality Assurance\\n\\nEnsure full compliance with all relevant regulations, including:\\nPAS2030/2035\\n\\nBuilding Regulations\\n\\nGas and Electrical safety standards\\n\\nECO and other funding body requirements\\n\\nPromote and enforce company health, safety, and welfare policies on all sites.\\n\\nEnsure site documentation, designs, and reports are maintained and compliant.\\n\\nTeam Leadership\\n\\nManage and support engineers, subcontractors, and operational staff.\\n\\nFacilitate team meetings focused on performance, health & safety, and ongoing training needs.\\n\\nWork with commercial teams to manage costs, monitor budgets, and support reporting requirements.\\n\\nWhat We're Looking For\\n\\nEssential Experience & Skills\\n\\nMinimum 5 years' experience managing retrofit, construction, or energy efficiency projects.\\n\\nStrong knowledge of PAS2030/2035, ECO funding, and low-carbon technologies.\\n\\nExperience in site/project management within the construction or energy sectors.\\n\\nGood commercial awareness with the ability to identify and manage contract variations.\\n\\nAbility to read technical drawings/specifications and ensure compliance.\\n\\nProficient in Microsoft Office; working knowledge of AutoCAD, Power Project, and project reporting tools.\\n\\nQualifications Required\\n\\nSMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)\\n\\nIOSH Managing Safely\\n\\nCSCS (Manager's category)\\n\\nHSE-recognised First Aid at Work\\n\\nFull UK driving licence\\n\\nDesirable Qualifications\\n\\nRetrofit Coordinator or Retrofit Assessor qualification\\n\\nExperience managing M&E systems or district/heat network installations\\n\\nKnowledge of Temporary Works Procedures\\n\\nWhy Join Us?\\n\\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team at the forefront of sustainable construction and decarbonisation.
