Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for a fresh challenge? Are you open to working in the passive fire protection industry? TSR Recruitment are actively working with a Fire Protection contractor based in the Cumbria area who are looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team.

Benefits:

  • Basic salary circa £65,000 - £70,000 per annum
  • Car allowance circa £4k
  • 20 days annual leave plus Christmas shutdown and bank holidays (31 in total)
  • 8.30 am to 5 pm working hours (30min break)
  • Friday working from home
  • Discretionary bonus up to 10% after 12 months employment
  • 3% employee pension contributions

Job Role & Responsibilities:

  • Commercially manage fire protection work on Cockermouth
  • Offer value engineering
  • Costings off a schedule of rates
  • Work closely with the site team to ensure projects are completed within budget
  • Carry out monthly cost value reports
  • Attend site meetings
  • Complete final accounts

Company Details:

Established business with 20 years trading history. Circa £20 mill annual turnover. Excellent client base including tier 1, tier 2 and SMEs. Industrial projects working on Sellafield.

Knowledge/Experience:

  • A proven history working as a Quantity Surveyor
  • Open to sector experience either main contractor or specialist subcontractor
  • Preferably degree educated
  • Good IT and numerical skills
  • Full UK driving license
