Sheffield £55,000 plus bonus

Business Development manager required for a South Yorkshire main contractor, a renowned company in the construction industry working on several frameworks.

Key Benefits
  • Competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
  • Car allowance circa £5,000
  • 30 days of annual leave (including bank holidays)
  • Pension scheme (3% employer contribution after qualifying period)
  • 8-5 working with a 4pm Friday finish
Role & Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue opportunities within the construction sector
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, architects and the supply chain
  • Maximise opportunities on frameworks
  • Monitor tenders, PQQs and tenders' submissions
  • Attend client meetings, site visits and networking events
  • Prepare and present presentations when needed
  • Liaise with the estimating / commercial team to maximise and win work

Required Knowledge & Experience
  • Previous experience in construction business development
  • Preferably within the commercial construction sectors such as Hospitals, schools etc
  • Full UK driving license.
