TSR Legal is partnering with a well‑established law firm seeking a Legal Conveyancing Assistant to join its busy Residential Property team in Weston-super-Mare.

The Role

Working closely with Fee Earners and the wider Conveyancing Team, you will provide comprehensive administrative and transactional support across a busy caseload of residential property matters. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting Fee Earners with day‑to‑day conveyancing transactions
  • Managing client communications and providing regular updates on matter progression
  • Drafting correspondence and legal documentation
  • Opening new matters and maintaining files through to completion and final billing
  • Managing diaries, appointments and key transaction deadlines
  • Updating and maintaining case management systems and databases
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and third parties
  • Assisting with general administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the department

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience working within a residential conveyancing environment
  • Excellent typing and administrative skills with strong attention to detail
  • Outstanding organisational and time‑management abilities
  • Confidence communicating professionally with clients and colleagues
  • Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • A proactive and team‑focused approach to work

Experience using Connect and RedBrick legal software would be advantageous but is not essential.
