About the Role
TSR Legal are pleased to be working with a well‐established national law firm that are seeking an experienced Senior Paralegal / Case Handler to join their specialist catastrophic injury team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside senior lawyers on high‐value, complex claims involving brain injuries, spinal injuries, fatal accidents, and serious polytrauma cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Senior Case Handlers and take ownership of delegated tasks to progress complex claims, including:
- Assisting on catastrophic injury cases from inception through to resolution
- Conducting liability investigations
- Gathering and reviewing medical evidence
- Liaising with courts, counsel, and external experts
- Arranging conferences and managing treatment/case management payments
- Maintaining high service standards and file progression
- Communicating effectively with clients, insurers, and opponents
- Attending internal meetings and contributing to case strategy
- Supporting business development and networking activities
- Supervising a junior case handling assistant
- Handling general administration and file management
Experience Required
- Proven experience managing your own litigated caseload
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Confident IT skills, including document production and bundle preparation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
