TSR Legal are pleased to be working with a well-regarded medium-sized law firm in Trowbridge, who are looking to appoint a skilled Property Legal Secretary to support both their Residential and Commercial Property teams. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected firm known for its commitment to client service, professionalism, and a supportive working culture. The Role
The successful candidate will provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support to fee earners across residential and commercial property matters. You will play a key role in ensuring transactions run smoothly, efficiently, and to a high professional standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing, drafting, and formatting property-related legal documents and correspondence
- Managing diaries, appointments, and key transaction dates
- Opening, maintaining, and closing files in line with compliance requirements
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, solicitors, and other third parties
- Handling Land Registry applications and property searches
- Managing post-completion matters
- Assisting with billing, invoicing, and file administration
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within Residential and/or Commercial Property
- Strong typing, formatting, and document management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
- A proactive, flexible, and professional approach
