TSR Legal is pleased to be working with a growing and reputable law firm that is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to provide dedicated one-to-one support to a Conveyancing Fee Earner. This role would suit someone with prior residential conveyancing experience who is looking to build a long-term career within a supportive team.
You will play a key role in supporting residential property transactions, helping to ensure files progress efficiently from initial instruction through to completion. Full training will be provided on the firm's systems and processes where required.
Your Day-to-Day Duties:
- Preparing and following up on client quotations
- Opening new files and issuing client care documentation via the firm's onboarding system
- Chasing funds on account and completed onboarding paperwork
- Reviewing AML checks to ensure compliance
- Liaising with estate agents to obtain memoranda of sale
- Requesting contract papers from sellers' solicitors
- Obtaining title documents from the Land Registry
- Issuing contract documentation to buyers' solicitors
- Ordering redemption statements, management packs and property searches
- Dealing with enquiries received on sale matters
- Chasing outstanding information from solicitors as required
- Managing regular correspondence with clients, agents and solicitors
- Preparing and submitting SDLT/LTT applications
- Serving leasehold notices
- Providing clear and timely updates to clients and agents
- Using the firm's accounting system (training provided)

To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have previous experience in a conveyancing support role (essential)
- Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Communicate confidently and professionally with clients and third parties
- Be comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines
