TSR Legal are pleased to be representing a leading and fast-growing property law business seeking an experienced Head of Conveyancing to lead and develop a high-performing conveyancing operation in Manchester. This is a standout opportunity for a commercially minded and people-focused conveyancing leader to take ownership of a large, established team within a modern and ambitious organisation. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving operational performance, enhancing client service standards and supporting continued growth across the business.

The Opportunity

As Head of Conveyancing, you will oversee a sizeable conveyancing department of 70+ professionals, providing strategic leadership, operational oversight and day-to-day support to management teams and fee earners alike. This role would suit an experienced conveyancing professional with a strong background in team leadership, operational management and performance improvement within a high-volume residential property environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate and develop a large conveyancing team, fostering a positive and high-performing culture
  • Oversee operational performance, workflow management and team resourcing to ensure efficiency across the department
  • Drive consistency across teams by implementing and maintaining best practice processes and procedures
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, innovation and enhanced client experience
  • Produce and present operational and performance reports to senior stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and legal requirements
