Senior Family Associate

An established Family team in Nottingham is looking to appoint an ambitious lawyer to support its continued development. The position offers a varied caseload, quality work and the opportunity to take on responsibility within a collaborative environment.
The opportunity would suit someone looking to develop their career within an established department, as well as a more senior individual seeking greater responsibility, autonomy and the chance to contribute to its future direction.
The Role
You will manage a broad range of family matters, advising clients on sensitive and often complex issues. Your work will include:
- Managing a varied private family caseload.
- Advising on financial matters arising from relationship breakdown.
- Handling private children work.
- Dealing with disputes relating to property and financial interests.
- Advising on relationship agreements and arrangements.
- Drafting and reviewing legal documentation.
- Providing clear, practical advice and excellent client care.
- Supporting the wider development of the department.
- Providing guidance to junior colleagues where appropriate.
- Contributing to the commercial performance of the team.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer.
- Experience handling a varied family law caseload.
- Confident advising on financial and children matters.
- Strong technical, communication and client care skills.
- Able to manage your own workload and work independently.
- Commercially aware, with an interest in developing client relationships.
- Ambitious and keen to contribute to the continued success of a team.
