Our client, a respected UK law firm with a strong reputation in the property sector, is seeking an experienced Associate or Senior Associate to join their Residential Development and Property team based in Bristol.

This is an excellent opportunity for a residential real estate lawyer looking to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will be joining a supportive and ambitious team, working on high-quality and often complex matters that combine elements of residential conveyancing, development, finance, and investment.

The role offers genuine progression opportunities, full support from senior leadership, and a broad caseload that includes acting for developers, lenders, and investors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a diverse caseload including residential development projects, bridging finance, portfolio refinances, title structuring, complex conveyancing, site set-ups, and infrastructure agreements
  • Advising clients on technical matters with minimal supervision
  • Supporting and mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to team development
  • Playing an active role in client relationship management
  • Maintaining excellent standards of client service and commercial advice
  • Supporting social housing transactions where required

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive status with strong experience in residential real estate
  • Ability to manage files independently and handle complex transactions
  • Experience acting for lenders, developers, and investors
  • A commercial approach and strong client relationship skills
  • Experience supervising junior lawyers is desirable
  • Excellent drafting and organisational skills
