Residential Conveyancing Solicitor / Licensed ConveyancerLocation: Port TalbotSalary: From £34,000 depending on experienceWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pmContract: Permanent, following a 5-month probationary periodThe OpportunityTSR Legal are currently working with a well-established law firm that is looking to appoint an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to join its growing residential property team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and client-focused conveyancer who is looking to join a supportive team and take responsibility for their own caseload, handling matters from initial instruction through to completion and post-completion.
The RoleYou will manage your own residential conveyancing caseload, dealing with a broad range of property matters including: Sales and purchasesNew-build transactionsRemortgagesTaking initial client instructions and providing clear cost quotationsPreparing and issuing contract packsApplying for searches and obtaining redemption statementsPreparing files for completion and ensuring all parties are kept updatedLiaising with clients, lenders, agents and other third parties throughout transactionsCompleting all necessary post-completion workMaintaining accurate and up-to-date records in line with the firm's procedures and best practiceKeeping up to date with developments in residential property law and relevant regulationsAbout YouThe successful candidate will ideally have: At least 2 years' proven experience working within residential conveyancingCQS accreditationThe ability to manage a caseload independently while also working effectively as part of a wider teamStrong organisational and time-management skillsExcellent client care and communication skillsA positive, professional and friendly approachGood IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and case management systemsA good understanding of the relevant regulatory requirements, including the SRA or CLC Code of ConductKnowledge of Anti-Money Laundering, mortgage fraud and counter-terrorism regulationsA good understanding of CQS requirements and best practiceWhat's on OfferSalary from £34,000, depending on experience and levelPermanent position following successful completion of a 5-month probationary periodMonday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm1-hour unpaid lunch breakOn-site parkingThe opportunity to join an established residential conveyancing teamIf you are an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer and are considering your next move, please get in touch with Hannah Williams at TSR Legal for a confidential conversation on 02920 388100 or submit your CV for review.
