Residential Conveyancer

TSR Legal are pleased to be recruiting for a well-established and highly regarded law firm with multiple offices across South Wales. Known for their strong reputation in property law, the firm is committed to delivering exceptional client service and expert legal advice. Their Blackwood office is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join their friendly and supportive team.

As a Residential Conveyancer, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of property transactions from instruction to completion, ensuring a smooth process for clients. You will handle a broad range of conveyancing matters, including:

• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Re-mortgages
• Transfers of equity
• New build transactions
• Shared ownership and help-to-buy schemes

You will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with excellent support from experienced legal assistants and administrative staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a varied caseload of residential property matters with minimal supervision
• Conduct legal research, draft contracts, and liaise with clients, estate agents, and mortgage lenders
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and firm policies
• Provide excellent client service, keeping clients updated throughout the transaction process
• Identify and resolve any issues that may arise in complex transactions

The Ideal Candidate:

• The successful candidate will have:
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in residential conveyancing (qualified solicitor, CLC Licensed Conveyancer, or experienced fee earner)
• Strong knowledge of conveyancing processes and property law
• The ability to manage transactions independently with excellent attention to detail
• A client-focused approach with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
