TSR Legal is delighted to be working with a highly regarded and growing law firm seeking a dependable, proactive, and organised individual to join its Real Estate Finance team as a Post Completion Legal Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a fast‑paced and collaborative team that advises both lenders and borrowers on refinancing and property acquisition matters. The team is known for its supportive culture, high‑quality work, and modern approach to legal services.

Based in either the Cheltenham or Worcester office, you will provide vital post‑completion support to a number of fee earners, helping to ensure transactions are progressed efficiently and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing applications for registration at Companies House
  • Preparing SDLT/LTT returns
  • Preparing and submitting Land Registry applications
  • Liaising with fee earners regarding Land Registry requisitions and related queries
  • Compiling and organising both hard copy and electronic documentation
  • Providing lender clients with updates on post‑completion formalities and responding to queries
  • Maintaining post‑completion spreadsheets and updating fee earners where appropriate
  • Acting as a key point of contact for administrative and business support requirements relating to post‑completion matters
  • Anticipating the needs of the wider team and providing proactive support where required

About You

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
  • The ability to work accurately under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience working within a client‑facing environment
  • Previous experience within a legal or professional services environment would be advantageous
  • A proactive, dependable, and detail‑oriented approach
  • Prior administrative experience is desirable
  • A legal qualification is not essential
