Residential Conveyancer
An exciting & new opportunity with a growing, friendly law firm
TSR Legal is working with a growing, friendly and progressive law firm to recruit a Residential Conveyancer to join its expanding property team at its Rhondda Cynon Taf offices.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated property professional to join a supportive and forward-thinking firm that genuinely values its people, encourages career development and places client care at the heart of everything it does.
With an expanding presence in the local area, the firm is looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team and would welcome the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of the office and its residential property practice.
Applications are welcomed from Conveyancers at all levels, from those with around two years' relevant experience through to senior-level candidates.
The Role
You will manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload, providing a high standard of service to clients throughout the transaction process.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing residential property sales and purchases, including freehold and leasehold transactions.
- Handling transfers of equity, new-build purchases, shared ownership matters and auction sales.
- Preparing and reviewing legal documentation and ensuring files are progressed efficiently.
- Maintaining accurate records and keeping departmental diaries up to date.
- Ensuring all matters comply with the firm's procedures, regulatory requirements and standards of client care.
- Building strong relationships with clients and colleagues through clear, proactive communication.
- Supporting the continued development and profile of the Porth office.
- Working collaboratively with the wider team and providing support across other offices when required.
Knowledge of commercial conveyancing or other non-contentious matters, such as Wills, Probate and Lasting Powers of Attorney, would be advantageous but is not essential.
About You

You will ideally have:
- A qualification as a Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer, or relevant experience as a Paralegal Fee Earner.

- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A client-focused approach and a commitment to high standards of service.
- The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Good IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to contribute to the growth of the practice.
