TSR Legal are currently working with a national firm based in Cardiff who are looking to appoint a Senior Private Client Solicitor to establish and lead a Private Client team in Cardiff. This is a genuine growth role, due to exceptional growth on a national scale. You will have the backing of a fantastic national brand, and infrastructure of a well-established national practice, combined with the support to build a team, shape the offering, and develop a regional private client presence in Wales.
If you’re currently constrained by hierarchy, succession bottlenecks, or limited investment, and want a role where leadership and entrepreneurship are genuinely encouraged, this is a rare opportunity based in Cardiff.
The Role
- Lead on high-value private client matters, including wills, trusts, estate planning, probate, and complex tax and succession issues
- Act as the senior private client presence in Cardiff, with a remit to grow both the team and client base
- Recruit, mentor, and develop junior and mid-level lawyers as the team expands
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the firm’s national private client and wider private wealth practice
- Play a key role in business development, profile-raising, and strategic planning
