The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 Β£ per year.
The successful applicant will join a successful commercial projects / public sector team dealing principally in public and private sector contract and procurement work. There will also be the opportunity to undertake other work in relation to a broad range of public sector matters for local authorities and other public sector bodies as well as a range of private sector clients who contract with the public sector.
The nature of the work will include advising clients on the procurement processes, dealing with tendering issues, delivering training for clients and assisting with procurement challenges, statutory and administrative law obligations, corporate governance and vires.
The successful candidate will have at least four years of relevant post-qualification experience. That experience might have been gained in-house in the public sector or in private practice.
You will need to have excellent client care skills, with the ability to communicate directly with clients at a senior level, strong technical skills, particularly drafting, presentation and research, be IT literate and able to work well under pressure.
