TSR Legal are currently assisting a boutique commercial firm based in Cardiff, as they look to expand their corporate team by recruiting a Corporate Solicitor into the Cardiff office, with a strong background in corporate matters. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to engage in high-profile transactions while contributing to the growth of our national corporate practice in Wales.
About the Role
As a Corporate Solicitor, you will be part of a dynamic corporate team, advising clients on a variety of transactional matters such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and private equity deals. You will also be responsible for drafting key corporate documents, including articles of association, shareholders agreements, and share purchase agreements. In addition to handling complex transactions, you’ll actively participate in business development initiatives, helping to expand our presence in the Welsh market. We are seeking someone enthusiastic about growing a new team and office.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely and technically proficient legal advice on a broad range of corporate transactions.
- Understand and manage client needs, ensuring cases are handled efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Draft and review legal documents with accuracy and commercial awareness.
- Develop your technical and commercial expertise through ongoing training and supervision.
- Build strong relationships with both clients and colleagues.
- Support the team’s business development efforts through effective strategies and client engagement.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Solicitor with Corporate experience, 2-6 PQE.
- Strong drafting skills and the ability to offer clear, commercially viable advice to clients.
- Up-to-date knowledge of corporate law developments and government policies.
- Proficiency with IT tools such as MS Office, digital dictation, and electronic time recording.
