The Role
Working as part of an established residential property team, you will manage your own varied caseload while working closely with junior members of the team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a full residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion.
- Handling a broad range of freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
- Dealing with lease extensions, remortgages, refinancing and transfers of equity.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and professional introducers.
- Working closely with estate agents, brokers and other key contacts.
- Supporting and developing junior members of the team.
- Providing coaching, guidance and mentoring to Paralegals and Assistants.
- Maintaining high levels of client care and ensuring matters progress efficiently.
- Contributing to the continued growth and development of the wider residential property team.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Around 4+ years' PQE within residential property, although relevant experience will be considered.
- Qualification as a Solicitor, CILEx, Licensed Conveyancer or experienced Fee Earner.
- Strong experience handling a varied residential conveyancing caseload.
- Excellent knowledge of freehold and leasehold transactions.
- Experience of lease extensions, refinancing/remortgages and transfer of equity work.
- Strong communication and client relationship skills.
- Previous experience of managing, coaching or mentoring junior team members.
- A commercially minded and proactive approach.
- Ambition to develop your career within a growing specialist property practice.
