About the Role

TSR Legal are pleased to be representing a well-established and reputable law firm based in Newport that is seeking an experienced Conveyancer Fee Earner to join its busy residential property team. This is an excellent opportunity for both qualified and non-qualified candidates who possess strong, hands-on experience managing their own caseload of residential conveyancing matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing files from instruction through to completion
  • Handling a range of transactions including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and new builds
  • Providing clear, practical advice to clients throughout the transaction process
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors to ensure smooth progression of matters
  • Maintaining high standards of client care and service delivery
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and internal procedures

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience as a residential conveyancing fee earner with the ability to manage files independently
  • Open to both qualified (Solicitor, Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer) and non-qualified candidates with substantial relevant experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of residential conveyancing processes
