A new opportunity has arisen for a Litigation Solicitor (NQ-4 PQE) to join a down to earth and highly regarded South Wales firm, known for its supportive culture and genuine commitment to developing junior lawyers. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to build a strong litigation foundation within a team that will invest in your growth and progression.
You will manage a mixed litigation caseload, with a particular emphasis on:
- Landlord & tenant disputes (residential and commercial)
- Commercial contract disputes
- A broader range of civil litigation matters as required
The role will involve:
- Managing matters from instruction through to resolution
- Drafting and reviewing pleadings, correspondence and key documents
- Advising clients on strategy, risks, and dispute resolution options
- Negotiating settlements and supporting alternative dispute resolution
- Preparing matters for court where necessary
- Building strong client relationships and delivering excellent service
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Be a qualified Litigation Solicitor (or due to qualify) with NQ-4 PQE experience
- Have experience in dispute resolution, ideally with exposure to landlord & tenant and/or contract disputes
- Be confident handling your own caseload (with the right support in place)
- Have strong communication, drafting and organisation skills
- Be proactive, personable, and keen to develop long-term in litigation
