Competitive, dependent on experience An excellent opportunity to join a growing legal team TSR Legal is working in partnership with a well-established law firm to recruit a Legal Secretary to join its growing Abingdon office. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and adaptable Legal Secretary who enjoys working across different practice areas and providing high-quality secretarial and administrative support to a busy legal team. The role will involve providing flexible support across a range of departments, including residential and commercial property, agricultural property, plot sales, private client and litigation. You will play an important role in ensuring the smooth running of the office, supporting fee earners and colleagues across the wider firm. The Role Working closely with the Business Support and Operations team, your responsibilities will include: Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support across multiple legal departments. Audio typing, digital dictation and document production, ensuring work is accurate and professionally presented. Preparing, formatting and amending legal documents, correspondence and reports. Supporting property teams with residential and commercial transactions, agricultural property matters and plot sales. Assisting private client and litigation teams with correspondence, file preparation and general case administration. Managing incoming telephone calls, emails and correspondence, ensuring enquiries are dealt with promptly and professionally. Maintaining accurate electronic and paper files, including document management and filing. Assisting with diary management, appointments, meetings and the coordination of deadlines. Providing general administrative support to the office and wider business support team as required. Working collaboratively with colleagues across different departments to ensure a consistent and reliable level of service. About You We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and confident adapting to the needs of different teams. Ideally, you will have: Previous experience working as a Legal Secretary within a law firm. Strong typing, audio typing and document production skills. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate work to tight deadlines. The flexibility to support a variety of legal departments and manage changing priorities. Strong organisational and time management skills. A professional and approachable manner, with excellent communication skills. The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a wider team. Good IT skills and experience using case management systems. Experience across property and/or private client and litigation would be beneficial. However, we are particularly interested in candidates who enjoy a varied role and are keen to broaden their experience across different areas of law. What's on Offer?
