Senior/ Childcare Solicitor
TSR Legal is recruiting for an experienced Childcare Solicitor to join a busy, expanding law firm. This opportunity would suit an established childcare lawyer looking to manage a varied caseload of children law matters, provide effective representation and contribute to the continued development of the team. The Role
You will advise and represent clients across a range of children law matters, providing clear guidance and support throughout often complex and sensitive proceedings. Your responsibilities will include: Managing a varied caseload of public law children matters, including care proceedings and adoption. Advising and representing clients throughout the legal process. Undertaking advocacy where appropriate and preparing cases for court. Maintaining regular communication with clients and providing a high standard of client care. Drafting applications, correspondence and other legal documentation. Keeping up to date with relevant legislation, case law and developments in children law. Working collaboratively with colleagues to progress matters effectively. About You
We are looking for a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with substantial experience in children law. You will ideally have: Strong experience handling public law children matters. A sound understanding of care proceedings, adoption and relevant court procedures. Experience undertaking advocacy and representing clients in court. Excellent communication, organisation and client care skills. The ability to manage a busy caseload and work effectively under pressure. A collaborative approach, alongside the confidence to work independently. Relevant children law accreditation would be advantageous. The Opportunity
