TSR Legal are delighted to be working with a well-established Cardiff law firm to recruit a Litigation Paralegal. This is an excellent opportunity for a Law graduate seeking to develop hands-on experience within a busy and supportive litigation department. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will work alongside experienced fee earners on a broad range of matters, assisting with case preparation from initial instruction through to trial or completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Support fee earners in the preparation of cases to trial or settlement under supervision.
- Assist with client communications, providing updates and maintaining excellent client care standards.
- Liaise with solicitors, counsel, and other professionals as required.
- Draft correspondence and pre-issue documents under supervision.
- Prepare court forms, pleadings, and supporting bundles.
- Help manage the progression of files and ensure deadlines are met.
- Provide additional support to fee earners across the team when needed.
- Ensure compliance with firm-wide quality and confidentiality procedures.
Requirements
- A Law degree (or equivalent qualification).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Good organisational ability and attention to detail.
- Proficient IT skills, including familiarity with case management systems.
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach and willingness to undertake further training and development.
