Legal Support Assistant / Secretary Residential Property
TSR Legal are proud to be working with a leading Top 60 law firm who now have brand new opportunities within their Residential Property team. This team serves a diverse portfolio of individual and corporate clients across residential and commercial property transactions.
Based in Cambridge, you will work closely with the Joint Head of Residential Property, providing comprehensive business support to the teams fee earners.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting and formatting legal correspondence, contracts (including sale contracts), and other documents.
- Acting as the first point of contact for administrative and business support requirements, anticipating team needs where possible.
- Assisting with the file-opening process for new matters.
- Supporting financial transaction preparations as required.
- Managing client queries and liaising directly with estate agents where necessary.
- Proactively managing diaries for allocated fee earners.
About You
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Teams.
- Excellent attention to detail and confident typing abilities.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Experience in a client-facing role (desirable but not essential).
- Prior experience in a legal or professional services environment (preferred).
- Knowledge of case management systems (advantageous but not essential).
- An interest in, or experience within, the property sector will be highly beneficial.
