The Opportunity
As a Legal Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the conveyancing team and ensuring property transactions progress efficiently and compliantly. Working within a collaborative and technology‑driven environment, you will provide essential administrative support, assist with client onboarding and compliance processes, and contribute to the smooth running of legal matters. This position offers the opportunity to develop valuable transferable skills that can lead to broader legal support, legal operations or process improvement careers within a law firm environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Conveyancing team.
- Assist with the progression of property matters through effective process management.
- Act as a first point of contact for client enquiries, delivering a professional and responsive service.
- Prepare client care and instruction documentation.
- Open new client files and maintain accurate records on internal systems.
- Support compliance procedures, including Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) checks and due diligence.
- Gather and manage client information required for file opening and matter progression.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with quality standards, regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
- Develop knowledge of legal systems, processes and controls within a supportive team environment.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in an administrative, business support or operational role.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and a process‑driven approach to work.
- Good IT skills and confidence using and learning new systems.
- Strong communication and client service skills.
- A collaborative and proactive attitude.
