The Role
As a Legal Support Administrator, you will play a key part in the success of the firm's Private Client group. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-performing team while developing your expertise in a specialist area of legal practice.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting lawyers in the billing process, including preparing narratives and covering correspondence.
- Managing credit control and liaising with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients and external parties via telephone and email.
- Assisting with the preparation of client updates and reports.
- Coordinating with internal departments to resolve issues and ensure seamless workflow.
- Scheduling legal team meetings and actively contributing to discussions.
- Organising client events and seminars in collaboration with the Marketing team.
- Building strong working relationships with legal professionals and gaining insight into client needs and operations.
What You'll Bring:
- Recent experience in a similar Legal Support Assistant, PA, or legal secretarial role, ideally within a Tax, Trusts & Succession team.
- Strong organisational and diary management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Familiarity with legal billing and financial processes.
- A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems.
- Fast and accurate typing skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with a client-focused, professional manner.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
- The flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and to work both independently and collaboratively.
