TSR Legal are pleased to be working with an award-winning residential property law firm that is continuing to expand its highly regarded conveyancing team in Gloucester. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic Paralegal to join a modern, fast-paced, and supportive property team with genuine long-term career development opportunities.
The successful candidate will work alongside experienced Fee Earners within a collaborative and service-driven environment, assisting on a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters including sales, purchases, and remortgages. You will be supported by a wider team of Fee Earners, Legal Assistants, and Property professionals while gaining valuable hands‑on experience within a respected and growing firm.
Key Responsibilities- Assisting with the management of residential sale and purchase transactions under supervision
- Handling your own caseload of files with appropriate support and oversight
- Updating clients, introducers, and third parties on the progress of matters
- Raising and responding to enquiries
- Reviewing and interrogating legal documentation and responses
- Preparing detailed reports for clients
- Assisting with pre‑exchange, exchange, and completion matters
- Ensuring exceptional levels of client care and service delivery at all times
- Maintaining files accurately and ensuring matters progress efficiently
- Previous experience within a law firm environment, ideally within residential conveyancing or property law
- Understanding of the residential sales, purchases, and remortgage process
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Comfortable working within a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment
- Able to manage workloads effectively and work under pressure
- Competent using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths essential
- Law degree (ideally 2:1 or above) or equivalent legal qualification desirable, though not essential
