Float Legal Secretary – Multi-Disciplinary
Salary: Up to circa £28,000 (DOE)

The Role:
As a Float Legal Secretary, you will support several departments including Residential & Commercial Conveyancing, Private Client, Litigation, and Family Law. This is a varied and flexible position ideal for someone who enjoys diverse workloads and thrives in a busy legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to legal teams
- Preparing legal documents and correspondence through audio and copy typing
- Managing client communications, both in person and over the phone
- Handling diary management, file administration, and document production
- Supporting fee-earners with general case management and client care
About You:
- Previous legal secretarial experience across multiple areas of law is essential
- High levels of organisation, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
- A proactive and adaptable attitude with excellent communication skills
- Willingness to travel between the firm’s Colchester-based offices if required
