About the Role
An established claimant-focused law firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Solicitor or Legal Executive (3+PQE) to join its busy and well-structured team. The firm offers a mature caseload, strong operational support, and flexibility around working arrangements, making this an attractive opportunity for a fee earner looking for stability and autonomy.
You will take responsibility for an existing mixed caseload of personal injury matters, with the opportunity to contribute to wider team objectives and business development initiatives as the department continues to grow.
The role will involve:
- Managing a varied personal injury caseload with minimal supervision.
- Conducting initial client consultations and triaging new enquiries.
- Advising clients on liability, quantum, and settlement strategy.
- Progressing files efficiently in line with client objectives and commercial considerations.
- Negotiating settlements and managing matters to conclusion.
- Reviewing WIP, budgets, and client funding arrangements.
- Achieving agreed monthly and annual fee earning targets.
- Supporting networking and business development activity.
- Maintaining accurate and well-organised files and correspondence systems.
- Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 3+ years’ PQE in personal injury work.
- Have experience managing your own caseload independently.
- Demonstrate strong negotiation and client-handling skills.
- Be commercially aware and comfortable working to targets.
- Have strong IT skills and a well-organised approach to case management.
