About the Role
A new opportunity has arisen for a Senior Commercial Property Solicitor to join a highly regarded Agriculture & Land team within an established South West firm, well known for its practical, commercially focused advice and long-standing client relationships across the rural sector. This role will suit someone who enjoys handling high-quality agricultural and rural property work, with a strong emphasis on client relationships and commercial awareness.
You will advise on matters including:
- Sales and purchases of farms, estates, and rural land
- Agricultural tenancies
- Rural land development and diversification projects
- Agricultural finance and security work
- Supporting wider succession planning matters alongside colleagues across the firm
This is a senior-level opportunity offering scope to take ownership of key files, support junior colleagues, and play a visible role in the future growth of the department.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 3+ years PQE in commercial property / rural property / agricultural land
- Have strong technical ability across complex property transactions
- Demonstrate excellent client care and communication skills
- Be confident working autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team
- Have a commercial mindset and proactive, solutions-led approach
