An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Employment Solicitor (NQ-2 PQE) to join a dynamic and growing boutique practice specialising in employment law. You will work closely with the Head of Employment, advising both employee and employer clients across a range of contentious and non-contentious matters.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Advising on settlement agreements, grievance and disciplinary matters, redundancies, discrimination, whistleblowing, and contractual disputes.
  • Representing clients in Employment Tribunal claims and appeals to the EAT.
  • Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, and restrictive covenants.
  • Supporting business clients on TUPE, restructures, service agreements, and employment aspects of corporate transactions.
  • Managing client matters from initial consultation to billing using LEAP case management system.
  • Liaising professionally with clients, barristers, and insurers.
  • Contributing to business development and networking activities.
  • Ensuring compliance with SRA standards, file management, and CPD requirements.

About You:

  • Qualified Solicitor with a valid SRA practising certificate, CILEx Lawyer, or experienced Fee Earner.
  • NQ-2 years PQE preferred (but all levels considered).
  • Previous experience in employment law is essential; corporate law experience is welcomed.
  • Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
  • Commercially aware, proactive, and committed to client care and quality service.
  • Experience using LEAP case management system is desirable.
