The Role
You will work within the Conveyancing Department, providing high-quality administrative and legal support to fee earners, enabling them to focus on more complex legal matters. You will play a key role in supporting transactions and maintaining excellent client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing client matters where appropriate
- Typing correspondence, opening new files, and file management
- Ordering searches and Land Registry documentation
- Preparing files for billing
- Screening incoming calls and managing correspondence
- Sorting and prioritising mail, emails, and messages
- Preparing straightforward legal documents
- Providing a professional and friendly service to clients
- Assisting with client liaison and transaction updates
- Supporting reception cover when required
- Working in accordance with LEXCEL standards and Law Society requirements
- Understanding Solicitors Accounts Rules relating to client monies
Skills and Experience

- Previous experience in legal work
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
