Commercial Litigation Solicitor - Associate / Senior Associate
TSR Legal is working with a respected law firm seeking a Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join its Birmingham team.
This is an opportunity for an experienced solicitor to handle a varied caseload of business disputes, advising clients on complex legal issues and delivering practical solutions. The role would suit someone looking to take ownership of their work within a supportive team, with scope to develop their expertise and progress their career.
The Role
You will manage a range of commercial disputes, advising clients at different stages of the litigation process and working collaboratively with colleagues on more involved matters.
Your work will include:
- Contractual and business disputes
- Disputes involving company ownership and commercial relationships
- Claims arising from alleged breaches of professional duties
- Disagreements concerning financial arrangements and business interests
- Disputes involving confidential information and commercial interests
- General commercial claims requiring detailed investigation and strategic advice
You will be responsible for progressing matters efficiently, assessing legal and commercial risks, preparing appropriate documentation and maintaining clear communication with clients throughout.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the team's wider objectives and develop your own professional network.
About You
You will ideally have:
- At least 3 years' PQE in commercial litigation
- Experience managing commercial disputes with an ability to work independently.
- Strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills.
- A practical approach to resolving complex issues.
- An interest in developing your expertise and contributing to the wider team.
