TSR Legal are delighted to be working with a progressive and expanding law firm with offices across Gloucestershire, Worcester, and Bath, who are looking to appoint an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join their busy residential property team in Stow-on-the-Wold. The Role
The successful candidate will work closely with an experienced lawyer while also managing their own residential conveyancing matters, assisting with transactions from instruction through to post-completion. Key responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing contract documentation and raising legal enquiries
- Preparing reports on title and advising clients throughout transactions
- Drafting legal documents under supervision
- Assisting with completion statements and financial documentation
- Preparing Stamp Duty Land Tax submissions
- Handling exchanges of contracts and completions
- Maintaining regular communication with clients and introducers
- Supporting junior team members and conveyancing assistants
- Ensuring files remain compliant with regulatory and internal procedures
- Responding to client enquiries promptly and professionally
Applicants should ideally possess:
- At least 1 year’s experience within a residential conveyancing team
- Experience handling freehold sale and purchase transactions
- Previous exposure to leasehold or new-build matters would be advantageous
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A proactive and team-oriented approach
- Good IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office packages
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be beneficial
