The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fee-Earning Paralegal or Junior Conveyancer to join the firm’s busy Property Department. Working closely alongside the Director, you’ll manage a varied caseload of local residential conveyancing matters and assist with other property-related files.
The role offers genuine support and guidance, making it ideal for either an experienced Paralegal ready to progress or a junior fee earner looking to develop their skills under the mentorship of a highly experienced Director.
Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
- Assisting the Director with more complex and high-value transactions
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and correspondence
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other third parties
- Conducting searches, reviewing title documents, and preparing reports
- Maintaining excellent client care standards and representing the firm professionally at all times
- Contributing to the continued success and positive reputation of the firm within the local community
Requirements
- Experience working within a conveyancing environment (as a Paralegal or Junior Fee Earner)
- A good understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction to completion (full support available to develop this further)
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, supportive team
- A client-focused attitude and strong attention to detail
- Local knowledge and a genuine interest in building lasting client relationships
