Commercial Litigation Solicitor - 4+ PQE
TSR Legal are currently representing a leading regional law firm based in Newport, South Wales, who are seeking an experiencedCommercial Litigationto join our dynamic Dispute Resolution team on either a full or part-time basis.
Our client offers a broad range of legal services to individuals, businesses, and organisations. Known for its approachable and client-focused ethos, the firm provides expert advice in areas including, Commercial and Residential Property, Commercial Litigation, Corporate and Commercial Law, Agricultural Law, and Private Client.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters, including partnership and shareholder disputes, construction disputes, property litigation, contentious probate, and agricultural disputes.
- Provide strategic legal advice to a broad range of clients, including businesses, landowners, farmers, charities, and individuals
- Negotiation and mediation skills to resolve disputes amicably when appropriate, while also being prepared to vigorously pursue or defend matters through litigation.
- Work closely with the Head of Dispute Resolution and other team members to develop and grow the department, contributing to the firm's overall success.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience in commercial litigation, with a proven track record of handling complex disputes across various sectors.
- Strong negotiation, mediation, and advocacy skills, with the ability to provide pragmatic and commercially sound legal advice.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional client service, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
