A new opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join one of the fastest growing firms in the region. This is a standout role for an ambitious NQ who is keen to build a long-term career within a modern, forward-thinking litigation team that genuinely invests in its junior lawyers. The firm has a strong reputation for developing talent from the ground up and offers structured progression alongside close, 1-to-1 mentorship from senior litigators. You will be given early responsibility, high-quality work, and the support needed to accelerate your development.
The role will involve:
- Assisting on a varied commercial litigation caseload, including contractual disputes, debt recovery, shareholder and director disputes, and general commercial disputes.
- Supporting senior fee earners while gradually taking ownership of appropriate matters.
- Drafting pleadings, correspondence, and court documents.
- Attending client meetings and gaining exposure to advocacy and dispute strategy.
- Working closely with partners who are committed to hands-on training and mentoring.
To be successful in this role:
- Be a Newly Qualified Solicitor or approaching qualification with experience in commercial litigation or dispute resolution.
- Have strong drafting skills and a genuine interest in contentious work.
- Be motivated, commercially aware, and keen to progress quickly.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to learning.
- Be eager to develop under close supervision within a growing team.
