About the Team
At TSR Legal you will be part of a dedicated wills and probate department recognised for providing specialist advice and support on estate planning, will drafting, contested wills, probate and related estate administration services. You will work closely with experienced fee earners on both straightforward matters and more complex disputes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support solicitors and fee earners with wills, probate and contested estates matters throughout the lifecycle of a case.
- Prepare documentation for probate applications, estate administration and related court filings.
- Draft wills, powers of attorney and correspondence with clients and third parties.
- Manage and organise case files and legal documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Liaise with clients, beneficiaries, executors, HMRC, Probate Registries and other stakeholders.
- Conduct legal research, support fee earners with case preparation and ensure file compliance with firm and SRA standards.
- Maintain regular updates to clients and colleagues on matter progress.
Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in a wills & probate or private client legal role - paralegal experience preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and prioritise competing deadlines.
- Proficiency with legal case management systems and MS Office.
- A flexible and professional approach with a strong desire to support clients through sensitive matters.
