A leading UK law firm with a strong reputation for innovation, client service and a collaborative culture is seeking a Senior People Business Partner to support its continued growth. The firm is recognised for its modern approach to legal services, investment in technology and commitment to developing its people, with multiple industry awards and a focus on an inclusive, high performing environment.
This is a senior role working closely with Partners and the executive team, providing commercially focused people advice across the business. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping leaders manage teams effectively, navigate challenges and build engaged, high performing teams. The role combines strategic input with hands on delivery, supporting consistent and effective people practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with senior stakeholders on people strategy and workforce planning
- Supporting performance management and employee relations
- Advising on organisational effectiveness and retention
- Driving improvements across HR processes and systems
- Providing data led insight to support decision making

About you:
You are an experienced and commercially minded HR professional operating at senior business partner level within a legal or professional services environment. You are confident working with Partners and senior stakeholders, able to influence and challenge constructively while building strong relationships.
You bring strong experience in performance management, employee relations and organisational change, with a pragmatic and solutions focused approach. You are comfortable working in a fast paced, evolving environment and able to balance strategic thinking with hands on delivery.
Strong communication skills, sound judgement and the ability to use data to inform decisions are essential. CIPD Level 7 or equivalent is preferred.
