Legal Receptionist / Conveyancing Assistant
Location: Cardiff Outskirts
TSR Legal is delighted to be working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm on the outskirts of Cardiff in the search for a Legal Receptionist / Conveyancing Assistant.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, close-knit practice with an outstanding reputation and a loyal client base. The firm is looking for someone who enjoys being an integral part of the team and is seeking a stable, long-term position where they can make a genuine contribution. This role would suit an individual who takes pride in delivering exceptional client service and providing valuable support to a busy Residential Conveyancing team.
The Role
This is a varied position, combining front-of-house reception duties with administrative support to the firm’s Residential Conveyancing department.
Key responsibilities include:
- Welcoming clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answering and directing telephone calls.
- Managing incoming and outgoing post and emails.
- Providing administrative support to the Residential Conveyancing team.
- Preparing correspondence and legal documentation.
- Opening and closing client files.
- Carrying out client onboarding, ID checks and compliance procedures.
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and third parties.
- Providing general administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the office.
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Have previous experience within a legal reception and/or conveyancing support role.
- Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Possess strong communication and client care skills.
- Be confident using case management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Enjoy working collaboratively within a supportive team.
- Be reliable, proactive and happy to take ownership of their responsibilities.
- Be looking for a long‑term opportunity where they can add real value within a respected law firm.
