TSR Legal are currently partnering with a dynamic and high-profile sports organisation, playing a pivotal role in supporting its legal and commercial operations. This is a unique chance to work at the heart of elite sport, contributing to the legal management of major commercial projects, sponsorships, broadcasting rights, and contractual arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, including sponsorship, media, merchandising, licensing, and supplier agreements.
- Providing timely and practical legal advice to internal stakeholders across commercial, operational, and executive teams.
- Supporting contract lifecycle management and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and legal standards.
- Advising on intellectual property matters, brand protection, and digital rights.
- Assisting with the legal aspects of marketing and advertising campaigns, including compliance with consumer and competition law.
- Managing relationships with external counsel when required.
- Keeping up to date with relevant legislation, industry trends, and best practices to ensure proactive legal risk management.
- Supporting strategic projects and initiatives across the organisation.
Skills and Experience
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 5+ years PQE, with commercial contracts experience.
- Strong experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
- Ideally, experience working within or advising clients in the sports, entertainment, or media sectors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- A pragmatic and solutions-focused approach to legal advice.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
