The Role
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of a team of Property Lawyers, ensuring excellent service delivery and high performance across the board.
- Manage team performance, develop legal talent, and embed a positive, inclusive team culture.
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Property Lawyers to deliver high-quality, efficient conveyancing services.
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee individual and team performance using a structured skills matrix.
- Manage workload distribution and resource planning to ensure consistent productivity.
- Support the development and delivery of personal development plans and ongoing training.
- Lead on people management issues including performance improvement, absence, and recruitment.
- Act as a key escalation point for service queries or complaints.
- Contribute to departmental change initiatives and cross-team collaboration.
- Work closely with senior management on budgeting, salary reviews, and business planning.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and external compliance standards.
